Are You E-mailing or Texting, Yet?

[dropcap]F[/dropcap]irstly, are you emailing your clients via Insight to confirm appointments? If not, you should set this up and try it because it is included in your Insight software and it is free. As for the e-mail marketing, it is also free to set up in the Insight program. However, you might want to use an outside marketing company like iContact to market via e-mail. Companys like these are set up to access your client e-mail lists and send out your marketing e-letters, and because they do bulk e-mailing and report on the progress of your e-letters, they are a great resource.
[dropcap]D[/dropcap]o your clients want to receive appointment confirmations and your new promotions via text? It seems like everyone is texting these days, so can Insight help with this? Yes, we do have texting options, and it costs extra. Insight has incorporated a true texting option for appointment confirmations, which can then receive a reply text confirming the appointment (this counts as two texts from the text bundle). You can purchase bundles of texts from us and use them with the ‘reply’ option, or you can use them as a ‘do not reply’ marketing campaign. I have seen this work brilliantly, and it can be an extremely cost effective option for direct marketing. These people are already your clients, you’re just making them aware of your promotion. Costs can be as low as 15¢ a text, or 30¢ to confirm an appointment.
[dropcap]A[/dropcap]s for the marketing side of things, 15¢ to get a message into the hands of a current client is extremely affordable. If you sent out 1,000 texts promoting a new service, a sale, or an event, and 100% read your text and 10% reacted to your promo, your $150 would go a long way. All other marketing mediums can’t even compare! I think it could be a fantastic marketing option for the right business and the right promotion. [/column]
